We want everyone to share our passion for paper and make our site as accessible as possible for everyone. We have undergone much restoration work since the fire of January 2022 and there is more still to be done. Old industrial buildings do not always lend themselves to easy access but that is what we are determined achieve.

 In each area of the Frogmore Paper Mill they were ready to support me with access to the exhibits and to say that I was allowed to touch as much as possible.  Some things were very delicate to handle and I really appreciated the amount of access I was granted.

I felt strongly that I was being transported back in time to this magical heyday, and fully immersed myself into the era with the workers and horse-drawn barges that were transporting papers into the rural towns of 1800’s.

Parking

There is ample, cheap parking near to Frogmore Paper Mill. Durrants Hill Road pay and display car park is opposite our main entrance, so it is a short step across the crossing to our door. The car park has a row of spaces for those with Blue Badges nearest to the road and electric charging points.

Coaches and minibuses should use our on site coach parking. The gate is in Frogmore Road on your immediate right.

access

We now have a ramp to our new temporary front door, which can be reached via the Durrants Hill Road gate. Soon a new front door will be visible opposite the car park, opening onto Durrants Hill Road. This will become our new reception area.

toilets

We have newly installed toilets which include one for those who need wider door and ramp access or baby changing facilities. The doors are also marked in braille.
