General Information
To fit with your usual meeting times, we offer uniformed youth groups sessions. Typically these are shorter than a school session and less formal, starting with a brief introduction to Frogmore Paper Mill, paper history and the significance of the paper valley.
Depending on your group size, scouts and brownies may stay together or be split into groups. A single group is 10 or under, so if you bring 18, we will make them two groups. Until we are fully open, more than 30 may not be possible but talk to us as we always try to make something work.
We request one leader and or youth leader per smaller group so that wherever a group is they are well supported.
If you are working towards a badge, we are happy to help.
As an alternative, in the summer months, we also offer a mix of boat trip and outdoor papermaking. This is dependent on an available skipper but has proved very popular. The boat takes a maximum of 12 passengers plus crew, travelling down the River Gade to meet the Grand Union Canal, turn and return. We do not go through lock gates.

Our entrance is opposite the Durrants Hill Road pay and display car park with ample parking. Youth group leaders should arrange for parent drop-off and collection to be from the car park and to gather their members there. It is then a short step via the pedestrian crossing to our entrance gate.
