Our boat, the Bryan Donkin is skippered by a qualified member of staff or volunteer.  The trip lasts for approximately 25 minutes and takes visitors from Frogmore Paper Mill, down The Gade River, to join the Grand Union Canal, then turning near Lock 67 for the return journey.

Though a short journey, much wildlife can be seen. Recent sightings include: swans, geese, ducks, heron, kingfisher, egret and a pair of cormorants.

The round trip costs £3.50 per person, infants (3 and under) are free. Maximum number of persons on board is 14 including the skipper.

We can make the boat trip part of a pre-booked visitor group package, otherwise we run on Thursdays from 1st April until 30th September, hourly 11.30 to 15.30.
