Easter Storyboats

TICKETING ISSUES ARE SORTED! If you have been waiting, we apologise for the delay. Easter Storyboat tickets are now on sale! For those that haven’t heard of them Storyboats are 40 minute journeys on Frogmore Paper Mill’s Bryan Donkin boat that take place in school holidays and are aimed at ages 4-8 years. They are a gentle activity of a slower pace to fit between the big days out, along the River Gade to just near Lock 67, listening to stories being read and spotting wildlife. Storyboats are very popular and the tickets sell out fast.

Tickets are £6 per passenger and everyone aboard must purchase a ticket. All children must be accompanied. Tickets may be purchased using the Event Tickets button at the top of the page. Younger or older siblings are welcome but our aim is for plenty of the target age range on each boat. Please can we ask that you do not bring snacks for the children, as it leaves those without feeling left out.

Boats depart from the Frogmore Paper Mill wharf in Fourdrinier Way – approximately 200 meters down on the left-hand side, where you will see a gap in the houses and our large gates. Parking is in Durrants Hill Road pay and display car park. We have limited parking for Blue Badge holders at our gate, which can be secured by calling us to reserve a space.

There are three steps into and out of the boat, with a handrail alongside. Staff are on hand to assist too. Our skippers are fully trained and we will go through our health and safety guidance prior to departure.
