The banks of the mill pond are slowly sinking into the river under the weight of the two buildings sitting on top of it (see other project to remove these). Once these have been removed, the mill bank needs to be underpinned so it doesn’t move any further into the river. We have no idea how expensive this may be… thoughts welcome!
