Our Paper Past – an exhibition about life as it was in the Gade Valley. Come and view 50 frames, maps and artefacts, relating to the paper mills of Two Waters, Frogmore, Apsley, Nash and Home Park. The show explores how the paper mills used to look, the sheer scale and breadth of production activity, the daily commute and related leisure activity. This cluster of mills was a hotbed of Victorian innovation, whose inventions spread around the world, it changed the villages and its markers are still all around us, if you know where to look.
The exhibition will remain on show until the end of September.
