FREE and exciting event at Frogmore Paper Mill very soon.  To coincide with Earth Day and using a Green Community Grant awarded by Dacorum Borough Council and many hours of hard work from our volunteers, we are creating an outside classroom. Come and see on Saturday 22nd April between 11am and 3pm, when you can bring the whole family to decorate a birdhouse or bug hotel, or fill a pot with your choice of plants – all to take home.  We are creating a space to have fun outside on the slab where our Visitor Centre once stood. More known for our history and paper production, the site is a wildlife haven with wildlife in the chalk stream, in the air and rare wild flowers. Papermaking is green, we aim to make the site as sustainable as we possibly can and we want others to enjoy the oasis.

We are creating raised planters, work tables and places to sit and enjoy this diverse habitat, with kind assistance and advice from Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust (who will be joining us) Sunnyside Rural Trust and The Box Moor Trust.  Please come and join us!
