Close to Christmas we offer our Santa boats with special guest on board! The boat will be decorated and the stories themed. At the end there will be a little gift from Santa. Boats leave at 2.30 pm and 4pm.

Storyboats are gentle boat trips to fill a gap in your holiday schedule. They are a 40minute boat trip, when passengers can sit back and listen to stories while wildlife spotting. We can’t guarantee the wildlife as it has mind of its own but we can guarantee the stories. If we spot any birdlife we can feed, we have waterfowl bird feed on board.

Storyboats are aimed at children ages 4-8 years. We use picture books so the young passengers can follow along and join in. We also aim to have plenty of young story listening passengers, rather than lots of adults. All children must be accompanied. All passengers must purchase a ticket whatever age! Booking is essential. Tickets sell out fast.

Boats depart from the Frogmore Paper Mill Fourdrinier Way wharf. Use the gate in Fourdrinier Way, HP3 9RY. Please arrive 5 mins prior to departure. Parking is available in Durrants Hill Road pay and display car park.

May we politely request you do not bring sweets and crisps, as it is unfair to other children on the trip and very distracting.

Full health and safety guidance is given prior to departure.

In the event of extreme weather conditions which may prevent us sailing, a full refund will be given. A full refund will be granted only if you give us 48 hours’ notice in which to offer the tickets to others.
