“My name is Bond, Basildon Bond,” will always be synonymous with the world famous stationery product. This talk is all about the development of Basildon Bond and the spread of this John Dickinson product throughout the world. Michael Stanyon will presenting the facts in his usual informal and fascinating style. Come and find out more about another local story on Friday 14th June, 7-9.30pm. Tickets are £18 which includes a fish and chip supper, tea or coffee. In addition you get to see inside the wood panelled, former John Dickinson boardroom, known as the Tudor Room.

All Talks are held at The Tudor Room, The Cottage, Apsley Mills, Stationers Place, opposite Apsley Station (the white building with Basildon Bond clock).  There is one flight of stairs to the Tudor Room and no available lift. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start.  A member of our staff will be outside to guide you.
