POSTPONED Guest Speakers 2nd June 2020
Two fabulous speakers who will be familiar faces from the media, especially if you have environmental concerns and a passion of wildlife.
Jonathon Porritt who you may know from his time with Friends of the Earth, the Ecology Party, author and media guest speaker, will deliver Addressing the Climate Emergency: the Decisive Decade. A very topical concern. Jonathon is joined by Dominic Dyer of The Badgers Trust, policy advisor to the Born Free Trust, ex Ministry of Agriculture and wildlife campaigner, will speak on The Politics of Wildlife Protection.
Jonathon has previous links to Frogmore Paper Mill and anyone who has been on tour will have seen his picture and read his quote. Papermaking is a very green industry and we are delighted to have both speakers with us. This is delivered in conjunction with SusWeek St Albans 2020 and our friends at Butterfly World 2.0.
The event will begin at 3pm promptly, with a short break between Dominic Dyer and Jonathon Porritt, to enjoy some refreshments in our cafe or meet the maker and try out beer from our tenants, Pope’s Yard Brewery who create ever wilder artisan beers. All refreshments are for sale.
BOOKING ESSENTIAL. To book either do so via Eventbrite here (going live soon), call 01442 234600 or email education@frogmorepapermill.org.uk. Ask for Sue or Alex.
