Christmas Craft Fair with Street Food and Music!
Yesterday was wonderful, I will say the best craft fair I have traded at this year. It was great being undercover, so much space & decent sized tables. The whole atmosphere was great we really enjoyed it. – Sweet Delights by Jools December 2022
For Visitors – the event details below are from 2022 as a guide only! Due to restoration works on site, we will not be holding the annual Craft Fair in 2023. We aim to be back better than before in 2024.
Next: Sunday 1st December 2024
Time:11am until 4pm.
A day with a difference! Our annual craft fair is combined with delicious street food vendors and live music, this year. Thirty stalls of artisan produce by local makers, street food vendors covering Malaysian, Mediterranean, Bratwurst and Pizza, specialist coffee, juice bar, beer and mulled wine. Plus Hemel Hempstead Brass Band and acoustic, duo Jamie Roche and Will Hughes with live festive music sets. Come and explore, buy your Christmas gifts, listen to great music and sample the food and drink.
This year, the fair will be held at the Durrant’s Hill Road end of our site, with ease of parking directly opposite. The craft stalls will be inside, food outside and seating areas. Entrance via our Durrant’s Hill Road gate. Adults £1 and children aged 4-16 years, 50p. Pay on the gate. All monies raised go towards our Fire Recovery Fund.
For stallholders.
Our rates are reasonable and we offer a discount for multiple tables. Stalls generally comprise of one or two tables with accompanying chairs, which are set up prior to the event. All you need to do is bring your products and any props you require for display purposes. The tables do vary, but are a minimum size of 60cm x 120cm.
Stalls are arranged throughout our museum display area, our large multi-use room and sometimes outside, if weather permits. Indoors you are amongst the heritage displays, which adds to the very special atmosphere of the Fair. If you wish to apply, we ask applicants to supply sample images of their produce, to ensure a varied and high quality range of items on offer at each event. You can do this by referring us to your website or social media page, when you complete the form below, or separately by email to: visitors@frogmorepapermill.org.uk.
Set up is from 9am, when vehicles may drive to the front entrance in Fourdrinier Way in order to unload. Unless you are a blue badge holder, you will not be able to park on site. We request that you park in Durrant’s Hill pay and display car park which is just a five minute walk away, and very cheap – £1.70 for a full day. The same principle is applied for take down after the Fair.
Due to site works following the fire at our Frogmore Paper Mill site, we are unable to host our annual Craft Fair for 2023. Sorry for any disappointment. We aim to be back on Sunday 1st December, 2024, 11am until 4pm, in the new, exciting space of our temporary Visitor Centre. We hope you can join us then.
