An opportunity to acquire some fabulous art and help us too! We are organising an Art Auction to be held in May. Fabulous and famous artists are allowing us to sell their work either for a percentage of the sale or the whole sale price. We are not releasing the names yet but we have many names you will have heard of, all delighted to help our museum to get back on its feet. Many work with paper, some do not, all of them high profile, passionate about paper, culture and art. Amongst them we have paintings, prints, paper sculptures, drawings, mixed media, ceramics, origami, cartoons, some using our Frogmore papers and much more. We have a huge range of prices and we are grateful to all the artists supporting us.
Artwork will be available to view online soon. A selection of works will be available to view prior to the auction in London. We have a Bonhams auctioneer so we hope many of you will be present. Pre-auction bids will be accepted but will be subject to not being out bid on the day.We will not be taking telephone bids. Watch this space!
